The recent decade in the life of the uban Cossack Chorus has seen brilliant victories at prestigious International and Jnion Competitions, triumphant concerts n the various countries of the world, as veil as victories at the First and Second competitions of Professional Russian Folk Choruses (Moscow, 1975, 1984), and international Folklore Festivals in ontguione (France) and Arangelovac (Yugoslavia). The Chorus invariably articipates in the concerts on the rhythm gradually accelerates, sadness giving way to merriment. Then virtuoso dances begin to the enthusiastic applause of the audience..." The performance of the chorus soloists including A.Uzvinsky, R. Goncharova, G. Cherkasov, A. Kovalenko, V. Zakharov, Honoured Artists of the Russian Federative Republic, M. Tsirulnik, Honoured Artist of the Mari Autonomous Republik, T.Bochtareva, V. Frolova, V. Sushkov, Diploma Holders of the All-Russia Competition, enjoys immense succes both in this country and abroad.
